"Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; those who seek find; and to those who knock the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

My name is Sere and Welcome to Rothert Huskies. I am so glad that you have stopped by my website. I hope that you find this site to be informative and fun for you to browse around.

I have been breeding siberians by myself since 2006 and before that I was helping my mother-in-law Susan with the huskies. Susan, had raised huskies for almost twenty years before she went to be with God. Since then my husband Jonny and I have taken over full-time.

I have always loved dogs and I've been around dogs for most of my life. Most of my dogs were mutts that my family had gotten from the Humane Society so I was new to the whole pure-bred idea when I started. I have to say though that God works in mysterious ways because there were only two pure-bred dogs that I was ever interested in, golden retrievers and siberian huskies. Now I still love Goldens, but the huskies have a special place in my heart.

Here at Rothert Huskies we are a small breeder, we have two males and four females. You can check them all out here. I do have two older females that are retired and need good homes. I am willing to keep all of my retired breeders if I need to, as I love them all, but I also would love for them to go to good homes where they can run and play to their hearts content. These are great, sweet animals, please consider one of my older animals and talk to me if you are interested.

My husband Jonny, who helps me out as much as he can, is a born and bred farm boy from central Illinois. We have corn and soybeans and several hundred acres of property that we farm on. I am a born and bred suburbanite from the Chicagoland area. I met, fell in love and got transplanted down here in the middle of farm country. It was quite a transition for me. I love it, but do miss a few things from home. We have one son who loves the country life and enjoys playing with our puppies. So all of our puppies do get socialization with younger children before they go home. We are considering fostering and adopting a child as well. Lots of prayer for our family on this matter.

I am also an avid traveller and photographer. I enjoy taking portraits of animals, people, and landscapes along with whatever else I can photograph. I love to travel and enjoy taking pictures of all the beautiful places in this country. I love God, my family and friends and my animals and I hope to be able to get to know you better as well. Please enjoy my site and contact me about my huskies.
